Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCES ABRAM-DITTRICK On July 14, 2011 Fran died suddenly after a tragic accident. A memorial service will be held at St. Timothy's Roman Catholic Church, 135 John Forsyth Road at 11:30 a.m., Friday, November 4, 2011, followed by an interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Fran was trained as a surgical nurse. She was employed in this capacity for over 30 years working at the U.C.L.A. Hospital and later in Toronto. Fran was married to Joe Dittrick and they had a wonderful life together. She was a sincere, fun-loving and compassionate person.

Frances Abram Howard - that was her name before. She was married, living in Markham, Ontario to my friend Sylvan John Howard. They lived in a house together on Dryden Court. Joe came into her life, and she moved away with him to Manitoba. Frances struggled with the death of Sylvan on November 13, 1998. He was a photographer. This was one of her favorite pictures he took.
