LEONARDO (WOODING)SARMIENTO SADIUA SR. 1922 2011 On Thursday, October 27, 2011, our dad peacefully passed away at the age of 88. He is survived by his sister Zenaida Mabunga and loving wife of 62 years, Natividad. He also leaves his children, Leonardo Jr. (Winnie), Catharine (Mark), Cheryl, Charles, Sandra; Leonil (Marilyn), Ritchie (Kathie), Mark, Leomar, Angieruff, James, Joshua; Cynthia (Roberto), Jon, Eric; Evelyn (Patrick), Jennifer, Nicole, Tyler, Kaitlin; Leo (Imelda), Justin, Brandon; Lyndon (Jovita) Anjelica, Jeffery; Leon; Michelle, Shayla, Maya, Tyson and his great-grandchildren Liam and Emily. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings. Dad was born on November 13, 1922, in Buenavista, Marinduque, Philippines, where he was a police officer. He immigrated to Canada with his family in September 1980. He took pride in his children and was extremely proud of his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a kind, generous, and loving individual. Our gratitude goes out to Grace Fida for her support and guidance. Many thanks to the staff of SOGH 5th floor, U3 and U7. Lamay will be held on Thursday, November 3 and Friday, November 4 at 6:00 p.m. to midnight at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Saturday, November 5 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews Street. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
