Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE MARGARET KWASNY 1914 2011 Anne Kwasny (nee Baley) passed away peacefully at Teulon's Hunter Memorial Hospital on Friday, October 28, 2011, at the age of 97. Anne was predeceased by her husband Fred, her son Kenneth and infant baby Kwasny. Left to mourn her passing is her son, Bill (Chery); grandson Cory (Nardine), and their daughter, Dylan and son, Jack; her grandson Jason (Tracy) and their three sons, Dominic, Liam and Simon; her granddaughter, Amanda (Jeremy) and their daughter, Madison, and son, Caleb. Anne is also survived by her two sisters, Jenny Gretchen and Marian Smerchanski. Anne was born on July 13, 1914, in Teulon and she married Fred Kwasny in 1946 after the Second World War. They moved to Dawson Creek, BC, in 1954, where they resided for 31 years, and it was during this time that their son Kenneth tragically passed away as a result of a vehicle accident. In 1985 they relocated to Fort Macleod, Alberta, in order to be closer to their grandchildren. In 1992 her husband Fred passed away and Anne moved back to Teulon, where she remained for the balance of her life. Anne's passion in life was cooking and she would be constantly feeding friends and relatives no matter how many there were. She also enjoyed playing cards, knitting and spending time with her family and friends. Anne will be sadly missed but we know she is in God's hands and in his care. Funeral services for Anne will be held on Thursday, November 3 at Teulon's Mackenzie Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Teulons Hunter Memorial Hospital fund in her name.
