PAUL REGINALD HATTON It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Paul Hatton on Thursday, October 27, 2011, at the age of 71 years, at the Victoria General Hospital. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Carol; his dear daughter Karen (Dave), cherished grandchildren, Kevin, Ian, and Jay; and his dear son Graham (Melissa) of Cherry Valley, Ontario. He will also be sadly missed by his brother Gary (Jane) his brother Clive, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Geneste and Norah Hatton, his brother Roy and wife Marion, sisters-in-law Bernice Hatton, Stella Pietras, and his wife's parents, Stanley and Annie Zator. Paul was born in Wallasey, England in 1940, immigrated to Canada with his family in 1953, and became a Canadian Citizen in 1965. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, travelling, reading, photography, playing darts, and had a natural talent for drawing. He was an Associate Member of the Canadian Legion and he recently renewed his membership with the Knights of Columbus. Special thanks to outstanding nurses Nada and Jenny at the Victoria General Hospital on 4 South, and chaplain Lynn Granke for her kind support. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Voyage Funeral Home, 1577 Pembina Hwy., 284-7500. A private family remembrance will take place on Wednesday, November 2, 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6, 949-2000.
