Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON FRANKLIN HONEY Doing what he loved, exploring the world, Gordon passed away at 84 years young in Tahiti on October 20, 2011. Gordon will be greatly missed by his wife of 40 years, Janet, his children, Debbie (Bob), Caron (Harry), Moira, Brian (Tanis), Michelle, Brent (Lindsay) and Jackie (Dave), his nine grandchildren, Matthew (Erin), Sean (Melanie), Dustin (Gladys), Jessica (Brandon), Chantelle (Mensah), Rickardo, Emma, Kyra and Alexa and his six great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Meagan, Timothy, Ethan, Summer and Luthor. Gordon enjoyed playing tennis, golf and working long hours in his award-winning garden. He had an inquisitive mind and loved discovering new things, reading non-fiction and doing crosswords. Gordon travelled extensively, visiting more than 90 countries. His kind heart led him to sponsor almost a hundred disadvantaged children through World Vision over the past 30 years, deliver Meals on Wheels as well as carrying out other charitable acts. Gordon's family would like to thank all their friends for the support and kind words during this difficult time. Gordon will be buried in the family plot in Binscarth on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
