DOUGLAS CHARLES HARDING After a lengthy illness Douglas passed away on October 30, 2011 at the age of 54 years. He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 34 years, Kim; his sons David (Tammy) and Christopher; his beloved grandchildren Nolan and Lainey. He will also be sadly missed by his brothers: Mike (Leslie), Greg (Aline) and Chris (Sharon); his sister Lori (Duane) Doucette; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Doug was predeceased by his parents Lois and Al. Doug worked as a shipper in the warehouse for Western Grocers for more than 25 years until his illness left him unable to work.His passions in life were dog training and being very active with his sons and their sports. His greatest joy was time spent with his grand-children. The family would like to thank the staff of the St. Boniface Hospital Dialysis Unit and E5 for their excellent care. Thank you also to Home Care for all of their care and support. In keeping with Doug's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
