DENIS JOSEPH CARRIERE May 18, 1949 November 1, 2011 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our Dad, Brother, Grandpa, and Uncle Denis Carriere on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the young age of 62. Predeceased by his parents Emile and Ramona Carriere and brother Gilbert Carriere. Left to cherish his memory are his son Dennis and wife Jodi, grandchildren Koby, Romona and Lexie, daughter Laureen (Greg) and their mother Yvette. His brothers and sisters Henry (Pierrette), Robert (Judy), Emily (Bimbo), Annette (Barry), Gilles, Lawrence (Patti), Yvonne (Rob), sister-in-law Theresa and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to express their sincere thank-you to the staff at Appleyard Bay, Rosewood Lodge in Stonewall for their care and compassion and also all who visited Dad. Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., prayers 10:30 a.m. and funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church, St. Laurent, MB. Father Guy Lavallee will officiate. Cremation to follow and a private family interment will be at a later date. Pallbearers are Henry Jr. Carriere, Robbie Carriere, Darryl Carriere, Chris Chartrand, Justin Carriere and Brad Moggie. Flowers are greatly declined, if family or friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Denis to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2, or to the Rosewood Lodge in Stonewall, 513 1st.
