Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDDY JORY LEE NEPINAK RED BEAR February 8, 1992 - October 30, 2011 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Gorddy Jory Lee Nepinak at the tender age of 19 years. Gorddy leaves to mourn his passing, his grandparents Gordon and Marie Nepinak (who raised him as their own), parents Charlene and Sonny Boy (Alan) Nepinak; sister, Cera; uncles and aunts, Francis and Ruby Ann, Wesley and Patricia, Ernie and Shelly, Auntie Bess (Charlotte) and Patrick, Lana and Alan. His cousins, Rayna, Deana, Frisco, Rychelle, Chelsea, Adam, Vikki, Sheena, Wyatt, Carla, Payton, Alexis, Katheryn, Daylon, Camrie and especially Drayson. Gorddy had a zest for life and was always found with his friends. He never turned anyone away who was in need. He did what was asked of him. He had a tremendous amount of love for his sister, Cera. Gorddy spent time with family whenever we celebrated special events or birthdays. He also had a love for horses. Gorddy spent a lot of time with his younger cousins, helping them make forts, and was a pro at making homemade fries and gravy! A wake service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., with a viewing beginning at 11:00 a.m. Both services will be held at the Skownan School Gymnasium. My Gorddy how I miss you so much. I asked one of your close cousins if you ever said anything about life and death and she said the winter before your passing that you told her you had a deep feeling that you were gonna die young. After you reached the age of 16, there was always a deep feeling of somekind that I felt and I could never understand what it was until your passing. You were gonna leave this world at a very young age. You were like my own child, my son. Red Bear is the name of your Spirit and mine is Stone Bear that is what made us so close. The Stone that you gave me when you were a little boy and how you told me that I had to have it and keep it with me and yes I still have it and undertand what it's for. I told the Creator that I would never be able to handle losing a loved one in death and here I am 4 months later. My heart is broken and I weep, I wonder how I live through this agonizing pain of not seeing you here with us. I seen the Northern Lights last night and I started to cry because I thought of you right away and as I wept they became brighter and then they made a formation of a bear in the night sky, I felt your spirit up there with our relatives.
