Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAULA JOANN GIESBRECHT (nee KUMPS) Peacefully on Monday, November 1, 2011 with her husband by her side, Paula passed away at the age of 52 years. She is predeceased by her Mother Sharon, great-niece Ainsley, and very special to her heart, her mother-in-law Rose Giesbrecht. Paula worked as a hair dresser for 35+ years where her many clients all became very special friends. She was an avid curler and loved every second she spent on the ice. She made it to the Scotties and won many Bonspiels. In the past few years she took up golf and became very good at that as well. But her favourite times were her trips to Laughlin, Nevada with her beloved Bruce where they were married. Their gambling and golfing trips with her friends where some of the best times she had. But her greatest loves were her children, her husband, family and her friends. Paula lived life like there was no tomorrow and was always surrounded by love. Our world will never be the same without her. We can only pray that we can embrace life and love the way Paula did and enjoy every minute. She leaves to mourn her beloved husband Bruce, son Chad (Amber), Daughter Brittany (David) stepsons Jase, Jesse (Samantha) and granddaughter Cali, father Paul Kumps, father- in-law John Giesbrecht, sisters Vicki (Lorne), Lisa (Eirik), brothers Rob (Julie), Cam (Nancy) sister-in-law Joanne, brothers-in-law Marshal (Janet), Ron (Marlis), John (Kim) and Brian and her so many nieces and nephews, aunts ,uncles, cousins and Brent and Shirley who she held so close to her heart. She also leaves her extended families her friends. A special thank you to Dr. Gera, Dr. Gomori, sister-in-law Julie and everyone who put their lives on hold to look after Paula. We love you all. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a fund in Paula's memory set up at the Gimli Credit Union, 34 Centre Street, Gimli, Manitoba R0C 1B1.
