Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAURORA LEVESQUE It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Aurora Levesque on October 31, 2011 at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, MB. She slipped away peacefully with her family by her side. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bonnie Larocque, Darlene (Jim) Simoneau, Paulette (Wayne) Culbert, Shelly (Gerard) Kristoff and Miles (Gail) Levesque; her siblings David Cayer, Richard Cayer, Frances Rempel, Laurent (Joyce) Cayer, Lorraine Sinclair, Gert Cote, Gail (Richard) Hunter and Judy Preteau; numerous grandchildren and great-grand-children. Aurora was predeceased by her parents Albert and Alma Cayer, husband Eugene Levesque, sons Denise and Levy, sister Grace Lamy and brother Raymond Cayer. Mom enjoyed writing poems, collecting the achievements and stories of all those dear to her through journaling and photos. Gardening was her passion, together with long walks and blueberry picking. She loved animals, especially the deer that wandered into her back yard, except when they got into her vegetable garden. Bird feeders were always full; left overs were never wasted. Mom loved to sew; she had a talent for creating exquisite costumes. Card playing was a favourite pastime with family and friends, as well as bingo. Her meat pies and cabbage rolls were enjoyed by all. Mom's energy was matched by few, especially on the dance floor. Community was very important to Mom, she belonged to the Ear Falls Catholic Women's League and the Ladies Legion Auxiliary. Mom loved life, her smile was contagious and she shared her love and hugs with everyone. She will be forever missed. Cremation has taken place. A family funeral will be held Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, MB.
