VITTORIA LUCIFERO Peacefully with family by her side, Vittoria Lucifero passed away on November 2, 2011 at the age of 89. Vittoria is survived by her daughter Rosetta and husband Santo, grandchildren Giuseppe (Kim), Enzo (Shannon), Angela (Richard), great- grandchildren Matteo, Luca and Livia, nieces Josie (Julio), Lenora (Joe), and great-nieces and nephews Rosario, Michayla, Sonia and Peter. Vittoria was born May 14, 1922 in Isca Ionio, Catanzaro, Italy. Vittoria immigrated to Canada in 1961 with her family. Vittoria was a kind, generous and compassionate person with a great love and devotion to her family. She has always been the source of comfort and strength in the family. Many special thanks to the staff on the third floor of Parkview Place for the tremendous care and compassion shown toward Vittoria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. with Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. Viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will take place at the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum at 1501 Waverley St. In lieu of flowers, donations in Vittoria's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
