CLAIRE BOURRIER (nee GRAVELINE) It is with great sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on November 2, 2011, at the age of 87 years, at Victoria General Hospital. Mom will be sadly missed by her loving children, Gilbert (Linda), Lorraine Paquet, Patricia Anderson (Bob), Raymond (Monique), Colette Keefe (Eugene); grandchildren David, Robert, Michelle, Martin, Ken, Chrissy, Sean, Michael, Bradley, Stefan, Sheena, Jolene, Chantel, Melodie, Danika, Justin, and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband Aurel, her parents Emile and Olivine, her brothers Roland and Marcel and her sisters, Cécile, Ida, Flore and Athella. Claire was born in Letellier, MB on September 26, 1924. Mom was an impeccable homemaker and took great pride in her appearance. She had a love for cooking and baking. Family outings and picnics were one of mom's favourite times. Mom had a great passion for travel. Some of her favourite places were Palm Springs, Mexico, Florida but nothing compared to her love for Hawaii. The family would like to thank the staff at Foyer Valade and the Victoria General Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2011 at Précieux-Sang Roman Catholic Church, 200 Kenny Street. Interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
