MARY JANE LINDA SEVERDIJA (nee BUJARSKY) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Severdija on November 2, 2011 at the Victoria Hospital. Marie is survived by her daughter, Susan (James), son Michael (Joelle), grandchildren: Chynna, Tristin, Mikayla and Tyler. She also leaves behind her nephews: Donavon, Brian, Craig; niece Mona; sisters-in-law Louise and Francine, and her oldest and dearest friend Elsa Boncynski. She was predeceased by her husband Milan; her parents Mary and John; brothers: Stan, Ronnie, Gary, and her sister-in-law Liz. Marie was born on May 22, 1938 in Montreal, where she lived until 1987 when she decided to venture out west to Winnipeg. She loved doing crafts, knitting, and cooking, but her greatest achievement was her family of whom she was very proud. Her greatest joy was spending time with the people she loved. In her 73 years on this earth, she touched many lives and will be missed. In keeping with mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Marie can be made to The Arthritis Society, Manitoba Division, 105-386 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R6.
