BETTY-ANNE WREN (nee SANDERSON) It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Betty-Anne at the Health Sciences Centre on November 1, 2011 at the age of 61. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Alan, sons Ronnie (Sophie), Chad and daughter Tabatha. Betty-Anne will also be missed by sisters Bea, Gayle (Floyd), Gladys (Henry) and brothers Albert (Fiona), Harvey (Diane), Neil and Oliver, as well as several grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. Betty-Anne was predeceased by her parents David and Agnes, five brothers and three sisters. Betty-Anne was born and raised in Portage la Prairie amongst a large and loving family. After raising her own family, she spent many years working in restaurants in Manitoba. Betty-Anne was a compassionate, caring mother and wife and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, November 14 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion during her illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare, MB.
