FRIEDA PENNER (nee REMPEL) Peacefully with her family by her side Frieda passed away at home on November 3, 2011 at the age of 71 years. She was predeceased by her father Abram and her brother Erwin and brother-in-law Werne Epp. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Peter of 52 years, her three son's Erwin (Dorothea), Kurt (Cathie), Richard (Wendy) and grandchildren Rachel and Owen. Frieda is also survived by her mother Margaret Rempel, her brother Herb (Margaret), sister Anne Epp, sister-in-law Ruth Rempel as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be held Wednesday, November 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street with interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Viewing prior to the service. The family would like to thank Dr. Marianne Krahn, her staff and the Palliative Care Program for their compassion and care.
