JOYCE PATRICIA HOUGHTON It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Joyce Houghton, on Friday, November 4, 2011, at Vista Park Lodge at the age of 82 years. Joyce is lovingly remembered by Sandra (Larry), Jonelle (Roy), Tom (Cheryl), and Vin; grandchildren, Ryan (Cathie), Cory (Tobi), Michelle (Randy), Raegan (Gord), and Tyler (Trish); great-grandchildren, Branden, Ryder, Justin, Ethan, and Ava. She was predeceased by husband, Thomas; brothers, Andy Persian, Doug Persian, and George Persian. Mom loved life at its fullest. She enjoyed dancing and going to Roy's Karaoke. As daughters, we spent tons of time with Mom, taking her shopping, to the casino, and out for lunches. For many years her favourite past time was going to bingo with her girlfriends. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society Research. Special thanks to Vista Park Lodge staff for their great care over a period of eight years. She was a great Mom.
