EMMA RACHEL HUCK 1919 - 2011 With peace and dignity, surrounded by the love and care of family and friends, Emma passed away at Golden West Centennial Lodge on November 4, 2011. Born to James Stratton Bartley and Jane Bartley on May 7, 1919, she was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Michael (Mike), in 1987; and brothers, James and Harvey. She will be forever remembered as an energetic, enthusiastic and independent caregiver to family, friends and community. She is survived by her loving children, Bob and Doreen Huck of Cranberry Portage (Christine and Lloyd, Richard and Leona); Ed and Bobbie Huck of Lockport (Michael and Coreana, Jane and Rob); Jean and Jean G. of Winnipeg (Mark and Yu, B. Jean); Margaret and Peter Karch of Florida; as well as, Kathleen and Daniel Highland of California (Emma Rachael and Annalisa). Also missing her are her five great-grandchildren, Dillon, Nathan, Richard, James and Devin; brother John Bartley and Pam of Rennie (Tracey, Brenda, Lori); sister Elsie and Walt of Ontario; sons and daughters of Jim and Harvey, other nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. We extend heartfelt thanks to the staff and friends at Golden West Centennial Lodge and Beacon Hill Lodge in Winnipeg who worked so hard to make her last years interesting, enjoyable and comfortable.
