JEANNETTE DOROTHEE LEBLANC (nee BOURQUE) It's with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother and spouse on November 3, 2011, at the age 72. She leaves to mourn her children Carmelle (Jean-Pierre) and Dennis (Chantal); grandchildren Marquis (Candice), Julien, Janique and Alexandre; common-law spouse, John Martin; and first husband, Robert Leblanc. Jeannette is predeceased by her brothers Leo and Raymond; father Eustache and mother Anna. She was born March 6, 1939, at St. Boniface General Hospital. Living in St. Boniface her whole life, her greatest joy was taking care of her children and grandchildren. She worked as a clerk for the provincial government at Vital Statistics for 35 years, making many friends. Jeannette's last weeks were filled with loving stories and funny memories of all of those who were precious to her. A memorial service will be held at Desjardins Funeral Chapel on Tuesday November 8, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made in Jeannette's honour to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The White Fathers of Africa.
