Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNICHOLAS (NICK) BAYKO It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather on November 5, 2011, at the age of 93 years. Dad was a member of #9 Legion for many years and served in the Second World War. He was predeceased by his wife, Elsie, in 2000; his son Ron in 1981; his brothers, Joe and Steve; and sister-in-law Dorothy. Nick will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Marlene; son-in-law, Walter; grandson, Sean; granddaughter, Nicole (Jim) and great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Matthew. He is also survived by his sisters, Jean, Eileen (Ed) and Verna; brothers, Walter (Alice) and Victor (Marlene); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In accordance with Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. His will be joining his wife in the mountains at Smithers, BC. The family would to thank the staff at Deer Lodge Centre for the care of Nick all these years. The family also would like to give a special thanks to Brenda for her warmth and compassionate care of Dad.
