RALPH LEWIS TATTAM After a lengthy illness, Ralph passed away peacefully on November 6, 2011, at the age of 84 years. Ralph leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of 61 years, Evelyn (Addie); son, Terry; daughter, Tammie (Gilles); grandchildren, Réjean, Mélanie, Mélissa, Eric, Nikki, and Camille, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ralph was predeceased by his son Michael; his parents, Harry and Ella; his brothers, Jack and Harold; as well as his sister, Shirley Lockhart. Ralph was wonderful, fun-loving man who took great pride and pleasure in maintaining his yard and garden, as well as always being ready to lend a helping hand. A welder by trade, Ralph was a self-made man who was willing to tell humorous stories about the many job sites he worked on, as well as many anecdotes about his hockey playing days with Eddie Shore; Don Cherry had nothing on Ralph! In keeping with Ralph's wishes, Cremation has taken place, and a private family celebration will be held at a later date. A special thanks to all the health care providers at St. Boniface General Hospital, particularly the staff in the dialysis unit for the care he received. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Ralph may be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation. Ralph's favorite saying was I'm pretty to look at and delightful to know!
