Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEREND MENSIES 1939 - 2011 On November 4, 2011, Berend Mensies of Oliver, BC passed away at the age of 72. Predeceased by parents Jantje and Albertus and his brother Albertus. Survived by his children Diane Logan, Berend Sonny (Cindy), Jennifer McCumber (Ron), Hans (Kelly Flint); brothers William (Joanne) and Koos (Kathy); sister Alice (Lorraine); eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Berend spent his career as a baker and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Berend was always loved and will be greatly missed.
