Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFAYE ALICE NIXON Faye Alice Nixon (nee Kemp) was born in Winnipeg on July 14, 1951. Faye left us on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 after a brave struggle with cancer. She is survived by her beloved husband, Tom Nixon, her son, James Morrisey, her brother Clifford Kemp, her sisters Doreen and Rhonda Kemp, three brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Jimmy and Vi Kemp. Faye loved to quilt, sew, play music with the Double Trouble band and she had a love of animals, especially, her Pookie . A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 11 at 1:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, with ash interment to follow at a later date. Should friends so desire, donations in her memory may be made to East Braintree Church, Twin Rivers Mennonite Church or a treasured charity of your choice.
