JEAN COLLEY (nee SANFILIPPO) On Monday, November 7, 2011 at Riverview surrounded by her loving family and after a lengthy courageous battle with cancer, Virgina Marie (Jean) Colley of Winnipeg passed away. Jean was born June 21, 1938 and leaves behind her beloved husband of 55 years Robert (Bob) Colley and her loving children, Steven (Dawn), Karen (Pat), Jason and grandchildren, Nick, Chris, Kaitlyn, Rachael and Matthew, in addition to many extended family and friends. Jean was known for her incredible style and fashion sense gained through her career in retail including stores such as Cliffords and Town and Country. In addition, Jean was an amazing cook who loved to entertain family and friends in her prized backyard in the summer. Everyone who met Jean came to love and admire her for her style, humour and generosity. She will be greatly missed by the many lives she has touched over the years. The family would like to thank the incredible doctors, nurses and staff at Riverview who provided her with amazing care in her last days. As per Jean's wishes, a funeral will not be held. In lieu of a flowers, the family has requested that if desired donations in her name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
