PATRICIA (PAT) HELEN HOWANYK (nee SHAFIRKA) 1938 - 2011 With sorrow and sadness our family wishes to announce our loving wife, mother and grandmother, Patricia, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Pine Falls Health Complex. She was 73 years of age. Patricia will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 54 years, Stephen, sons Michael (Sabine) and Steven, grandsons Jason and Madisson, sister Olga (Edward), and numerous nieces, nephews along with other family members and friends. At Mom's request cremation has taken place and she will be placed to rest with her mother Anna and father William in the spring at the Elmwood Cemetery. The family wishes to extend their thanks to Doctor Essa and the staff at the Pine Falls Health Complex for the compassionate and outstanding care she received during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the animal care agency of choice. We love you mom and will miss you always... until we meet again.
