CAROLYN DIENNE ATEAH Carolyn Dienne Ateah died peacefully after a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis on October 22, 2011 at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, ON. She was born on March 8, 1950 in Winnipeg, MB. Predeceased by her parents John and Bernice Ateah. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Don Blanchet. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Laela (Matthew), brothers Michael (Barbara) and Curwood (Christine). She will be missed by her nephew and nieces, and many other relatives and friends. Carol graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School, and served as managing lawyer for the Oakville CAW Legal Services Plan, and finished her legal career running a private practice in Oakville. Her greatest pleasure was spending summers with her family in Traverse Beach at the cottage and Victoria Beach. A celebration of Carol's life will be held in Victoria Beach in July 2012, date will be announced closer to the time. Any donations in Carol's memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
