M. VALINDA (LINDA) MORRIS (nee BURRUSS) On November 7, 2011 Valinda died as she wished: quickly in her sleep and having played tennis the previous afternoon. She is survived by her daughter Susan Morris, her son-in-law Chip Newell (both of Boothbay Harbor, Maine), her son David Morris (Calgary) and her sister-in-law Gracie Wright (Toronto). Linda was 81. Linda's enthusiasm for contributing to society and enjoying the arts endeared her to all. A private reception will be held Saturday, November 12 in Winnipeg. A Toronto reception in honour of Linda will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Linda may be made to UNICEF Canada. Condolences may be sent to susanvmorris@aol.com
