Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKEVIN WAYNE BOULETTE 1969 - 2011 On Monday, November 7, 2011, at the age of 41, Kevin fell into eternal rest at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. Kevin is survived by his mother, Caroline Boulette of Boissevain, MB; aunt Rose (Fred) Wood of Manigotogan, MB. He was predeceased by his father Felix Smith; grandparents Joe and Grace Boulette; Colin and Catherine Smith. His memory will be cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Kevin was born in Pine Falls, MB (1969), raised by his grandparents Joe and Grace in Manigotogan, moved to Powerview (1977 to 1987) to attend school, and then moved to Beausejour (1989 to 2011). Through his association with Association for Community Living (ACL), he worked at ARC Industries. To many, Kevin had a number of nicknames, one was Goot . He loved attending hockey and baseball games; his love for sports made him an avid collector of hockey and baseball cards and keeping stats. Kevin also enjoyed reading the news, comics, and magazines. He enjoyed family celebrations - Christmas, Easter, along with weddings and summer holidays. The family would like to thank all the staff at ACL for their care and compassion during Kevin's stay of 23 years. Special thanks to Tracey, Ashley, Joe, Linda, Susie, Brenda, Stevie, Kayla, Cheryl, Barb and Barry. To all past and present hockey team players and coaches of the Comets, Stars, Stingers, Beavers, and Eastman Selects, your respect, actions, words, thoughts and laughter brought much joy to Kevin's life. To all the girls' hockey teams, especially the Shocks, and slow pitch teams, you all gave Kevin something to live for. We are grateful to you all. A funeral service will be held at the Manigotogan Community Hall on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Martin Kimball officiating. Honourary pallbearers are cousins Joe Prest, Kenny Kirton, Kelson Sanderson, Chesley Prest, Albert Boulette and Louis Boulette. A celebration of Kevin's life will take place in Beausejour on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., at the Brokenhead River Community Hall, 320 Veterans Lane (off James Avenue) with Martin Kimball officiating. Honorary pallbearers are the entire past and present hockey players of the Beausejour Beavers and Beausejour Shock. Pallbearers are Dale DeMarco, Mark Buss, Chris Wielgosh, Jodi Wielgosh, Chris Balness, Barry Weidman and Barry Paseska. A cremation will take place followed by a private family interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kevin Boulette Memorial Fund in care of Association For Community Living, Beausejour Branch Inc.
