FRANK KENNETH ANTOCHIW (KEN) It is with great sadness that the family announces the untimely passing of our beloved father, grandfather and brother on November 9, 2011, after a short battle with cancer. Ken was born in Selkirk and grew up in the Oak Hammock area. He worked for Canadian Pacific Railways from the time he was 16, until his retirement in 1999, after 40 years service. Ken was predeceased by his wife, Marie; stepson, Glen; mother, Lena; and father, Michael. At this time Ken leaves to mourn his sons, Chris and granddaughter Paige (Lockport), and Scott and Shauna (Selkirk); sisters, Joyce (Carl) Siedlecki (Winnipeg), Jean and Louis Morin (Monominto), as well as his nieces, nephews and their families. He also leaves behind his sisters-in-law, Darlene and Garth (Balmoral), Elaine and Bob (Los Angeles), Edith and Bruce (Nelson, BC), Sandra and Ted (Husavick); and brother-in-law, Dave and Barb (Inwood). Last, but not least, we want to thank Jackie and Paige for taking in grampas Lucky. The family would also like to thank the staff in the GD4 ward at Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg for all their help and kindness during Ken's illness. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Manitoba Cancer Society. At Kens request there will be no funeral service. A private interment for family and friends will take place.
