Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS JOHN WATTS 1924 2011 Dad passed away peacefully at Teulon Hospital on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at the age of 86. He was born in Argyle, Manitoba, on November 17,1924,to George and Nellie Watts and moved to the Balmoral area in 1938. He married Kathie Hibbitt in 1951, and they raised their five children together on the family farm. Dad's life was built on the foundation of hard work, simple pleasures and family. Dad was predeceased by his parents, brother Ernie, and sister Ethel. Dad is survived by his wife, Kathie, of 60 years; children, Jim (Colleen), Jean (Glenn) Main, Brian (Shelley), Bruce (Shirley), and Margaret; grandchildren, Andrea (Tom), Johnson (Lesley), Gordon (Darlene), Tammy (Brent), Tim (Ashlee), Kyle (Jenn), Brenda, Chris (Brenda), Ken (Ange), Carla (Jason); great-grandchildren, Mathew, Kaitlyn, Emily, Nathan Main, Nickolas, Ethan, Julia Turchyn, Russell, Lyla, Levi, Cassidy Watts, Samantha, Damon, Ella Marquart. Dad is also survived by his sister-in-law Joyce Watts, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Dad's six grandsons, Gordon Main, Tim, Kyle and Johnson Watts and Chris and Ken Marquart. Honoury pallbearers will be Ken Hibbitt, Robert Dodd, Randy Makowski, Kerry Baldock, Ed James, and the remainder of Dad's grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall with interment to follow at Victoria Cemetery, Balmoral.
