Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROL MATHILDA PARENT (nee FRIESEN) Sadly, in her home on November 13, 2011, Carol Mathilda Parent passed away at the age of 67. She was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Mathilda Friesen, and her brother, Reginald. Left to mourn are her children, Michelle, Daniel (Margaret) and Marcel (Harmony), and her grandchildren Gari, Taylor, Rachel, Benjamin and Rowan. Carol was born on February 21, 1944 in Steinbach, MB and was raised in Ste. Anne. She was devoted to her family and loved them unconditionally, and because of her supportive, non-judgemental and incredibly insightful ways touched the lives of all who knew her. Memorial service will be held on Friday November 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
