Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDWIGHT ALEXANDER MUNRO Dwight (Porky) passed away on November 12, 2011 after a courageous hard fought battle with cancer. Dwight was born December 29, 1957 in Birch River, MB. He leaves to mourn, his loving wife Colleen Molloy; his two children, Alex and Takyra; his stepchildren, EJ, Vennessa and Katie (Peter); his granddaughter Seyana; his mother Marion Munro; and his sisters, Debbie (Cyril), Sandra (Keith), Judy, Lorie (Lawrence); brothers, Wayne (Karen), Brent, as well as many special nieces, nephews and relatives and close friends. He is predeceased by his father James Munro; brothers, David Munro and Terry Smith. Dwight's early years were spent in Birch River, Hodgson and Winnipeg where he attended school and gained many friends. Dwight worked hard all his life and for the past few years he worked at Norwin Roofing Ltd. as a foreman. He enjoyed working hard and found it to be very rewarding. Dwight held a special place in his heart for his family and was one of the first to show up when his help was needed. Dwight rarely missed an invitation to family gatherings and everyone looked forward to his coming. Dwight hardly went anywhere without his sunglasses and you could always tell that he was watching what was going on. Dwight always left a pair behind. Service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue at Parr Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal.
