Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLENA (LEE) PAJAK (nee DEMETRIOFF) It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother Lee Pajak after a brief illness, at St. Boniface Hospital, on November 14, 2011 at 92 years of age. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Tommy; brothers Sonny, Nick, J.B., Mike and George, also her sisters Minnie and Clara. Lee is survived by her son Brian, daughter-in-law Susan, grandsons Derek (Sharon), Jamie (Tatjana) and Adam. She is also survived by her sister Ann Hallem, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was a very loving and caring person who was always willing to help others. She was also a wonderful cook and baker. She was loved and respected by all who knew her and will be sadly missed. Mom was a very hard worker and worked for many years in the catering industry. Her last place of employment was with the Carlton Club in Winnipeg where she was very much respected. After her stroke in 2006 she moved into River Park Gardens in 2007. We would like to thank Dr. D. Hochman and the wonderful nursing staff on 7A South of St. Boniface Hospital for their excellent care and compassion during Mom's final days. We would also like to thank the staff at River Park Gardens for the excellent care that Mom received while a resident there. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate Mom's life will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Donations in the memory of Lee can be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
