LINA (LEE) MARIE ANGE CHAMPAGNE (nee OLIVIER) April 27, 1936 - November 9, 2011 It is with broken hearts, and a devastating sense of sorrow, that we announce the untimely passing of our most beloved and treasured mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She is survived by her children Robert, Louise and her grandchildren Steven, Michael, Daniel, Lara and Tianna. She is also survived by her siblings Louis (Sharon) and Lucien, and many nieces and nephews. She grew up in St. Norbert and attended the St. Norbert Convent. On April 30, 1955 she married the man who won her heart, Jules Champagne, also from St. Norbert. Mom was large as life and often at the center of all things, she organized and hosted countless events and celebrations. An avid supporter and volunteer for Les Festival de Voyageurs. Always the rock of the family very supportive to us all. We will miss her terribly. Our family invites you to celebrate with us the life of this wonderful woman, Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the recreation room at 21 Boulton Bay off Kenaston Boulevard. Interment will follow at a later date with immediate family in attendance only. Many thanks to the wonderful nurses and doctors who supported my mother through many illnesses over the recent years.
