WENDY DARLENE LOWE (nee ANDERSON) January 28, 1951 - November 6, 2011 On the first snow fall of the year our Mom, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, neighbor and friend passed away due to health complications. Wendy will be deeply missed by the loves of her life; her three daughters, Kelly Dawn McLauchlan (Lee), Jodie Danielle (John Peltzer), Jaime Amber (Dave); her treasured granddaughters, Jordan Young and Jaidyn Anna; her sister and best friend Heather Garvie and nephew Tyler; her former husband and lifelong friend, Ron; nephew Darren, nieces Andrea, Amanda, Stefanie and their parents Pat, Doug, Alan, and Cyndy along with many other relatives and close friends. Wendy was born in Winnipeg where she and her sister were raised by their mom Muriel in the West End. She was married to Ron in 1972 and they moved to Windsor Park shortly after. Wendy was a devoted mother who was heavily involved in all her daughters' many extra-curricular activities and volunteered endless hours to ringette. Mom enjoyed a fulfilling and lengthy career in the Payroll Department at Red River College. Wendy's most cherished role was that of Grandma. Some of the happiest times of her life were spent caring for her granddaughters. Mom was known for her extreme generosity, compassion, determination and fierce loyalty to her family. Please join us in celebrating Wendy's life, at Holy Eucharist Parish Centre at 460 Munroe Avenue on November 21 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wendy's memory to Christmas Cheer Board or Quagga Stray Cat Rescue.
