Left to cherish Brian's memory are his son Brent, daughter Karen and family, sister Gail and family and brother William and family. He was predeceased by his wife Carole; parents, Maurice and Patricia; and his in-laws, Walter and Edith Learmonth. On March 8, 1942, Brian was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He enjoyed his time spent in the Naval Reserve where he was a sub lieutenant. He also was involved in Winnipeg Minor Hockey and coached both hockey and soccer. After graduating from Gordon Bell High School, Brian embarked on his professional career at the Canada Permanent then onto Revenue Canada and finally Investors Group from 1975 until retirement in 2000 where he retired as a Senior Vice President and was proud of his achievements. Brent and Karen....My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. I mailed a Christmas card to your dad and it was returned to me Moved. Upon google searching just realized that your dad passed away November 2011. I had no idea he was not well. I lost touch with your dad after my husband passed away in 2010. I am so sorry I wasn't there to provide support, I remember your dad to be a very good man. Without a doubt in my mind he loved his work at Investors Group and loved his family. I enjoyed carpooling to work with your dad and the many visits I had with him. May he Rest in Peace, now reunited with your mom. Barb - Posted by: Barb Spulnick-Porter-Bohn (Friend) on: Jan 11, 2018
