Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFREDERICK VICTOR ERICKSON April 21, 1965 November 17, 2011 It is with deep sadness that we announce that our beloved Frederick has lost his battle to cancer. Frederick is survived by his loving partner, Ken; his sister, Laurel Anne (Dean); his nephew, Cole; and Helen Borm, who played a special part in his life, as did many friends and extended family. Frederick was predeceased by his parents, Victor and Esther Erickson. He was born in France in a military family and grew up in Winnipeg and Selkirk, Manitoba. Frederick later made his home in Calgary, where he was extremely proud to be a member of Calgary's E.M.S. Paramedic team. We would like to thank his many friends and family, particularly the paramedics, who lovingly supported and cared for him throughout his illness. We would also like to thank the staff at Chinook Hospice for their wonderful care. At Frederick's request, there will be a Private Graveside Service held at a later date in Selkirk, Manitoba. Cremation has taken place. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Chinook Hospice, 1261 Glenmore Trail S.W., Calgary, AB, T2V 4Y8, Telephone: 403-258-0040 or to the charity of the donor's choice. Freddy was my 1st Love in Kindergarten, I tied his shoes and it was Love. My Mom remarried, we moved from Selkirk and lost touch with him until the passing of his Father Victor. We reconnected for the brief moment, gave him my number and he never called. Today I think of him and for some odd reason I look at Obituaries to remember the spelling if he had the E after D or not to find out he passed away almost 2 years ago. My heart is so saddened that I never saw him again and won't again ever. I love you Freddy my first Love. Tying shoes and Ice Cream will always make me have warm thoughts of you. xoxo - Posted by: Brenda Leese (Friend) on: Jun 18, 2013
