MARION MARGARET TRUDELL (nee GILLIES) 1916 - 2011 Marion passed away November 18, 2011, at Calvary Place Personal Care Home in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Marion was predeceased by her husband, Elmer Trudell, in 1998; father, James, in 1951; mother, Margaret Gillies, in 1964; brother Donald in 1943; brother Joseph in 1974; and beloved sister Elaine in 1982. Honouring her memory are her son, Donald Trudell, and wife Joan Ripley-Trudell; daughter Jane Anne Jacobson and husband Ralph; daughter Monica Gordon and husband Ian; and Marion's precious grandchildren, Rita, Rebecca, and Rodger Gordon. Also surviving are sister-in-law Vicky Gillies; and Marion's much loved nieces, Janice, Jill Stocks, Joan Turcotte, Louise, Laurie, Ellen, and Cathy Gillies; cousins Bob and Clara Nolan and brother-in-law Ernie Trudell and wife Hazel. Marion's home this past 11 years was at Calvary Place, where all the assistance she needed was provided with great care, kindness, and dignity. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 24, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's The Worker Parish, 505 Brewster St., Transcona, Manitoba.
