MYRNA STUBBINGS
Date of Passing: Nov 18, 2011
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMYRNA STUBBINGS It is with much sadness that the family of Myrna Stubbings announces her passing, peacefully and with her family at her side, at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg on Friday, November 18, 2011. Myrna will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her husband of 54 years, Vic, her son, Randy (Cheryl; grandsons Jason and Travis), and her daughter, Vicki (Ken; grandson Adam). She is survived by her sister, Carol, and numerous nieces and nephews. Myrna was predeceased by her son Daniel in 1963; parents, Bill and Mary Miller; parents-in-law, George and Marian Stubbings; brothers, Bill and Jack; sisters, Sharon Godbout and Betty Lloyd; and brother-in-law, Bill Bregg. Nans was extremely proud of her family and especially loved spending time with her three grandsons. She enjoyed life and she travelled the world, with Australia and Portugal being among her favourite destinations. She was loved by all who met her and counted many, including fellow St. Vital mall-walkers, as her friends. Respecting her wishes, cremation has taken place and a small family ceremony will take place at a later date in Thunder Bay, Ontario, where Myrna will be placed for eternity next to her son Daniel. Myrna's family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of the St. Boniface Hospital, and especially to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit, for the extraordinary care and compassion Myrna received. In lieu of flowers, donations to any children's charity would be sincerely appreciated.

Vicki, I was so very to hear about your mom. I have so many wonderful and happy memories of her from when we were in school. All the trouble we used to get into. I remember your mom most for her beauty, laughter and smile. Please give your dad our love. Wishing you peace and love.
