ANDRZEJ KOZAK It is with unbelievable sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Andrzej on November 17, 2011, at the young age of 40. He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Beata, and two beautiful children, Julia and Matthew; parents, Jadwiga and Ryszard Kozak; brothers Piotr (Ania) and Pawel (Katarzyna); aunt, Bernadette Jaworski (Michael); uncle, Jan Suszczynski (Jadwiga); mother-in-law, Maria Majkrzyk; sister-in-law, Ilona Niemczyk; cousins, Ivona Zaremba (Chris), Peter Suszczynski (Carla), Ania Zoledowski (Stan), Marek Jaworski (Erin); and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends both in Canada and Poland. Andrzej was born on December 28, 1970, in Prudnik, Poland, and immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada, when he was 18 years old. It was here that he met his soul mate, Beata, and the two were married on August 5, 1995. Their marriage was full of love and happiness and together they built a beautiful life with their two children, Julia and Matthew. His wife and children were the most important part of his life and above everything he always put his family first. Andrzej was larger than life and lived his life to the fullest. His presence was felt by those around him, always making them feel loved and welcomed in his home. He was a friend to many and enjoyed making others laugh with his endless stories. Andrzej was a creative and skilled craftsman. He could build or fix anything with ease always lending a helping hand to those around him. Never complaining that he was too busy or tired, he had time for everyone. He truly understood how precious life was and not to take anything for granted. Andrzej enjoyed playing golf with his uncles and looked forward to family events. He was proud of his heritage and being a part of the Polish community in Winnipeg, dedicating many hours of his time to the Sokol Polish Gymnastic Association. Above all Andrzej valued time with his wife and children. They shared many precious moments together and they will greatly miss his tender heart and gentleness. 2 THE MAX Funeral Prayers will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Ghost Church (341 Selkirk Ave.) on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery.
