Maurice Desrosiers was born on May 27, 1933, the son of Emilien Desrosiers and Ernestine (Bourgeois) Desrosiers in St. Malo. Maurice worked for MTS as a linesman for 33 years. He had hobbies such as gardening and working the farm; he enjoyed nature and all animals, but above all, he loved his horses. From his time as a boy until he moved to Winnipeg in 2004, horses were a way of life for Maurice. He cared for them, loved them and mourned for them. On June 29, 1957, he married his one love, Marcelle (Comeau). They had four children, Gerald (Nancy), Michel (Sue), Rossel (Rachelle) and Roxanne. Above all, Maurice's biggest love in life were his wife, his four children and his grandchildren, Kyyle, Kristopher, Katie, Matthieu, Josee and Riley. He took great pleasure in hearing their stories and watching them play and beamed with pride when their names were spoken. Maurice also leaves to mourn, his sisters and brothers, Therese, Leonne, Jeanne, Claire, Celine, Estelle, Simone, Paul, Bertille, Jean, Robert, Guy; sisters and brother-in-law, Aline, Lorette, Donald and Therese. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Anna, Marie, Yvette and his brother George. Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550
