MARGARET LORRAINE DE DENUS (nee INNES) 1923 - 2011 On November 18, 2011, Margaret passed away peacefully at Betel Home in Gimli at the age of 88, with family by her side. She will be lovingly remembered by Henry, her husband of 67 years, daughter Carol (Wayne) Kauk and their children Brian (Brenda), Disa and Stephen (Stacy), and daughter Mary (Neville) Skanderbeg and their children Angela (Greg), Ken (Jamie), Lori (Darwin), Larry (Darilyn) and Brian (Sarah), nine great-grandchildren, with one more expected shortly, and three great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister Irene (J. Alistair) Gibson and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Margaret touched the lives of all she met. She volunteered at Misericordia Hospital for 35 years, was an active member of St. Bede's Anglican Church and a Brownie leader and Girl Guide Commissioner. After moving to Gimli in 1986 she became a lifetime member of the Women's Institute. Whatever she did she had a way of making people feel special and she always saw the good in everyone she met. A memorial service will be held at St. Stephen's and St. Bede's Church, 99 Turner Avenue at Mount Royal Blvd., Thursday, November 24 at 1:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
