WILLIAM BYERS ELLIOTT Peacefully following a brief illness, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of William Byers Elliott on November 18, 2011, at 90 years of age. He will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Jean Doris Elliott, daughter Jackie Cycon (Rick), grandson Kalyle Mark Cycon and great-grandson Jason Hurley. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas John and Clara May Elliott, and sister Janet Elliott. Bill served in the Canadian Air Force for 15 years between 1942 and 1964 flying CF100 Fighter Jets. He later flew passenger jets for Trans Air and finally cargo planes for Ontario Central. He retired in 1983 and spent many winters in Mesa, Arizona. We wish to thank relatives, neighbours and the staff of Victoria General Hospital of Ward 5 South for their exceptional care. Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
