Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHERYL RIEDIGER (HUMNISKI) It is with heavy hearts and the deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Cheryl on November 10, 2011, at the age of 57. Born on March 29, 1954 Cheryl was raised in Elmwood, although many of her fondest memories were at Winnipeg Beach and Matlock. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a degree in Fine Arts. Cheryl was a gifted artist with a compassionate and incredibly caring soul. Vivacious and strong, she was also a cancer survivor. A devoted mother and wife, Cheryl was also a treasured sister and friend to all. She will be eternally missed by her beloved family: husband Tom; daughters Kaleigh and Ali; sister Lori; niece Jenny; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Cheryl is predeceased by her father and mother, William and Helen Riediger. As per her wishes a private cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of her life at St. Nicholas Church, 737 Bannerman Ave. on Friday, November 25. Friends are welcome to come by between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to pay their respects. If friends so desire, donations can be made in Cheryl's name to the Humane Society. - Till we meet again -

Wow seems like yesterday I met Cheryl from my dear brother Eddie at Wpg. Beach as out there we were like a crazy loving family of crazy but fun things we did--Wow did we Party a lot--then of course came your sister Lori as we fell in love with animals, the Beach, good laughs, parties, good bad and ugly. Still a shock to know you are gone a year now! You always had a smile, friendly greeting even when you were mad or asleep anger didn't show! Always looking out for others for advice, etc. I by surprise met your dear Tom at Polish Club reminding where the time has gone and you are in heaven with Our Fathers yours & mine and other there with you! Say hello to my Bachi, Dogs--Max & Tyler! I wish your sister Lori the best wish she would say hello sometimes. I have nothing but awesome memories of the times Cheryl & I spent together! I grew up with her, we were BEST friends from babies to about 14 years old then went our separate ways because of going to different schools. We were always called the Bopsy twins cause we were inseparable! I just found out about her death & am shocked & shaken up. I loved her & have always missed her. Lori I hope you are doing ok & would love to hear from you! What a big loss to everyone that knew her! - Posted by: Lauree Dalzell (childhood friend) on: Feb 08, 2012
