NELLIE (TOPOROSKI) SHEARD September 22, 1924 - November 18, 2011 Nellie was born in Selkirk, Manitoba to parents Eva Luco and Theodor Fred Kostyk. She passed away on November 18, 2011 at Health Sciences Centre at the age of 87. She was predeceased by her husband John Toporoski in 1969 in Hadashville, MB where they lived and by brothers Andrew, Peter, Fred and Nick Kostyk, and sisters Pearl Crouch and Ann Kudrich of Winnipeg. Nellie is survived by her children May (Karl) Reznik of Medicine Hat, AB, Roy Toporoski of Hadashville, MB, Leonard (Vicky) Toporoski of Winnipeg, Elaine (John) Walker of Edmonton, AB, and Debra Ann Janzen of Winnipeg. She also leaves her brothers Bill and John Kostyk of Winnipeg, and sisters Kay Bennett of Hastings, Michigan, Doris Wachal, and Alice Slovinsky of Winnipeg, along with many nieces and nephews as well as seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Nellie was a resident of Parkside Nursing Home for many years and we wish to thank all the staff there for their care and compassion. Our thanks go to the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre for their compassionate care. In accordance to her wishes she will be cremated and put to rest in All Saints Cemetery beside her mother. There will be no formal service. The family will have a private memoriam. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of Canada or the charity of your choice. REST IN PEACE MOTHER
