Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORRAINE THERESA SUTHERLAND (nee NOLIN) On November 20, 2011, Lorraine courageously gave up her fight with cancer and accepted the welcoming hand of her Lord and Saviour. She was born on March 24, 1938 in St. Boniface. She was employed at Winnipeg Transit being the second woman bus driver in Winnipeg. She retired in 1998 after 23 years. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents Marie-Anne and Arthur Nolin, her sister Marie, and her godmother Babe. She leaves to carry her legacy: her brothers Marcel (Wendy) Nolin and Eugene (Pat) Nolin and their families. She also leaves behind her cousin Pat, along with Cody, long time friend Jackie and many more family, friends and neighbours. Lorraine was a strong, independent woman, with many friends. She was a kind, loving soul with a large, generous heart; always trying to be available to lend a hand. She touched the lives and made a difference to us. We shall all miss you Lorraine, and are relieved that you are now in peace. Thank you to Dr. Johnson and the staff at N1N and IBEC for your love and compassion. You are God's Angels. A memorial tea will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. in the reception centre. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550
