Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryENZO LISI May 17, 1937 - November 21, 2011 After a long and happy life filled with love and surrounded by family who loved him with their whole hearts, Enzo Lisi passed away on Monday, November 21, 2011 at the age of 74 years. Remaining to forever cherish Enzo's memory are his loving wife Maria, of 47 years of marriage; three children Fabrizio (Angela), Ezio (Tanina), and Sonya (Solomon) Feinberg; his loving and most devoted grandchildren Hilary, Emily, Benjamin, Sebastian, Violet, Laura and Adelina. He will also be sadly missed by his surviving three brothers and five sisters, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, as well as many special nieces, nephews and friends who all meant so much to him. He was predeceased by his parents Michele and Vincenza Lisi, and his brother Sergio. Dad was born and grew up in Strangolagalli, Frosinone, Italy where he began apprenticing as a tailor at a very young age. He later worked in the family business and would travel all over Italy buying and selling cattle. He then met and married Maria and with their young son decided to move to Canada. They settled in Winnipeg and had two more children. Dad resumed his craft as a tailor and enjoyed a fulfilling career as a pattern designer. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue at 11:00 a.m. Viewing be held one half hour prior to mass. Entombment will follow at Holy Angel Mausoleum. Special thanks extended to all our friends and family whose frequent visits to the hospital meant so much to Dad. He knew how much he was loved by all. Also, thanks for the care he received at the St. Boniface Hospital 6E ward. Dad, you fought a good fight and finished the race. May you forever rest in peace - Riposi in pace. We love you!
