ARMAND MOQUIN 1923 2011 It is with heavy hearts that we announce Uncle Armand passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 20, 2011. He leaves to mourn his niece Gisèle Rainville (Marcel), Raymond Colliou (Lynn), Ronald Colliou (Joanne) and numerous family members. Uncle Armand was the last surviving member of his family. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph in 1953 and Lea in 1955, brothers Roland (1991), Raymond (2008), Florent (2010) and a sister Irene (2010). Uncle Armand accepted many challenges throughout his life as things did not always come easy. Through his persistence and hard work he managed to maintain his independence until his move to Taché Nursing Centre. He loved family gatherings especially around Christmas and New Years and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Uncle Armand loved to pass his time working on puzzles while listening to the music on his radio. He was drawn to family pets during his family visits. In his younger days he was the one who sold the Free Press by the corner of Donald and Portage at the Eaton's building. The family would like to thank the staff of 2ABC at Taché Centre for the excellent care and love they provided him since December 2006. He will be missed by all. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 25 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in St. Joseph, MB with Father Lionel Thibault presiding. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
