Yvette will be missed, remembered and always loved by her daughter Caroline, son-in-law Myron Jaworsky, granddaughters Alexa and Adriana, her beloved baby sister' Jeanette Baril, brother-in-law Denis, his nieces and nephews in Edmonton and Belgium, cousin Joann Gralewski in Michigan, family-in-law Joseph Jaworsky, Terry and Sally Jaworsky. Yvette was predeceased by her loving husband George of 50 years in 2004. Yvette was born in Tielte, Belgium on June 16, 1930 and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1952. She lived most her life in St. Boniface where she met George at Belgian Sacred Heart Church. They were married and began their life together in 1953. Yvette worked at St. Boniface Hospital until she and George began and worked together in starting their business as George's Bakery. Mom loved her family and granddaughters first and foremost. She lived her life with faith, dignity, courage, and a fierce determination. Yvette held a special place in her heart for her friends, Maria and Peter Ewert, Alma Gauthier, Olga Janzen and Lorraine Smith. She was an amazing and talented knitter and loved to work in her gardens; she could hardly wait for Spring to get things started. She and George enjoyed many great travels through US, Canada and Europe. Yvette was extremely energetic and hardworking and we were blessed to have Mom in our lives. She will live on in our memories and in our hearts. Flowers are gratefully declined; instead donations may be made in Yvette's memory to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation or St. Boniface Hospital Foundation. The family would like to thank Dr. Catherine Moltzan, Dr. Nene Rush, the staff of St. Boniface Hospital 6ASouth and Intensive Care Unit for their care. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Boniface Hospital Chapel level C2002 at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 26. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord; And let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen Condolences may be sent to www.desjardinsfuneralchapel.ca DESJARDINS 233-4949 1-888-233-4949
