CORRINNE VERNA WAWSZKO (nee SLACK) On Sunday, November 20, 2011, at the age of 59, Corrinne passed away peacefully at her home with her family present. Left to cherish her memory are her husband John, mother-in-law Ethel, daughters: Candace, Carmen (Chris); Morgan (Carlos); also grandchildren: Brendan, Nicholas, Travis, Riley, Dalton, Angel, Ivy, and Luke. She will also be missed by her sister Joanne, brothers Sidney (Leona), Donald (Margaret) and several nieces and nephews. Corrine was a Registered Nurse at the Victoria Hospital for 17 years and later went on to a Coordinator position for the WRHA. She will be sadly missed by her colleagues. We would like to thank Pat Garbutt and Luz Allard who stood by her side and provided much comfort to her the last few months. Corrinne will also be sadly missed by her numerous friends and extended family members. A Mass with Father Kevin Bettens in celebration of Corrinne's life will be held on Monday, November 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Mary Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Drive (off Pembina Highway). Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Corrinne's memory to Cancer Care Manitoba (675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9) We miss you and love you!
