Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDITH EVANS (nee PHAIR) After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Edith at the Swan Lake Hospital on November 23, 2011 at the age of 78 years. Mom will be forever missed by husband Roy, children Connie (Aime), Ken (Trisha), Jim (Yvonne), Dale (Rhonda), Glen (Shannon), Catherine (Al), Wayne (Sandra), Nancy (Keith), David, Janice (Jody) and Barbara (Neil) as well as 36 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, sister Doreen (Maurice) Buydens, and brother Elgin Phair. Mom was predeceased by her son Barry (age one year), and parents James and Dora Phair (nee Loney). As an expression of sympathy, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Edith's memory to the Swan Lake Memorial Hospital Foundation (Wellness Centre). A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., at the Swan Lake Roman Catholic Church. A special thanks to Dr. Desmond and nursing staff of Swan Lake Hospital as well as nurses at Portage La Prairie Hospital.
